The choir was in a relaxed mood as it sat down to a light lunch of soup and sandwiches. No sign of competition nerves here.

Moira Westland didn't let the fact she had a new baby to look after stop her from enjoying the Mod.

Moira is seen here wearing her Isle of Mull silver pendant inscribed with a 25 to commemorate the fact the choir has been competeing at the national mod for 25 years.

Every choir member was presented with a pendant gifted to the choir by an anonymous donator and we are truly thankful for their generosity.

Lunch was followed by a rehearsal in the garden next to the Sports centre where we were competing. A chance for last minute practice and photo session.
